Hybrid Electric Water Heaters

For customers that either don't have access to a gas line, or prefer to run an electric water heater, hybrid electric tanks are the best option for energy efficiency. They use heat pump technology to carry the workload so that the elements don't have to work as hard. The cost to run a hybrid are generally $215 per year as opposed to $555 for the same size standard electric tank. They also carry a 10-12 year warranty depending on the model and brand. That's a savings of $4,000 over the course of the warranty period. Hybrid tanks are also energy star and are eligible for $800 in rebates, making them the obvious choice for replacement of a standard electric tank. Hybrid Electric tanks are available in 50 and 80 gallon. They are typically special order items and may take 2-3 weeks to arrive when ordered, so it's best not to wait until your current tank gives out to replace it with a hybrid.

State/AO Smith Natural/LP Gas, Electric Water Heaters

We love installing State 40/50/75 Gallon tanks that are available in Natural Gas, LP or Electric. We have short and tall sizes available as well as power vent options. State tanks are extremely reliable and are available in 6, 9 or 12 year warranty classes. When we find a product that works for our customers and has very few mechanical failures or customer service issues, we stick with it and keep installing them. That's why we prefer State over any other brand.

We prefer to provide tanks as opposed to installing a customer supplied tank. The reason being, that if something is wrong with the customer supplied tank when we arrive (bad gas control valve, large dent or broken T&P valve) we have to wait for the customer to return it before we can get the water heater installed, and may have to come back at another time.

If we discover something is wrong with a water heater we provided while on site, we can easily have it swapped out by one of our apprentice techs and keep moving with the install without any delay.

We also do not up charge on the cost of the tank or parts. We do not charge to remove your existing tank, or charge to deliver a tank that we provide. All of these services are provided free of charge to make the installation as painless and affordable as possible.
